Meet Ainsley

Floralcentric is an Auckland-based floral design studio led by Ainsley Henry, creating florals for weddings and events throughout New Zealand.

Ainsley's floral journey began 9 years ago in London where she spent several years working alongside talented florists and immersed in a world of creativity, artistry and events. Inspired by that experience, she returned home to New Zealand to establish Floralcentric, bringing with her a fresh and modern perspective to floristry.

Floralcentric is known for its artistic approach to floral design. With a sculptural style, we love incorporating texture, unusual blooms and unexpected elements, creating arrangements that feel a little different from the ordinary.

Originally founded as a mother-daughter collaboration between Ainsley and her mum, Michele Coomey of Michele Coomey Floral, Floralcentric was built on a shared love of flowers and beautiful design. Combining fresh ideas with decades of industry experience, the studio quickly became known for its modern and contemporary approach to floristry.

Today, Floralcentric is owned and led by Ainsley, who continues to work closely alongside Michele on weddings and events.
